The studio
Built to
the site
ADA Design is an architectural design studio based in Sydney, working across metropolitan and regional New South Wales. Our practice covers the full spectrum of residential typology — single-storey homes, dual occupancies, granny flats, secondary dwellings — alongside medical centres, industrial developments, and townhouse projects.
Every project starts with the land. Orientation, slope, view lines, existing vegetation, neighbouring buildings, council overlays — these decide the geometry before a single wall is drawn. When the site is read properly, the plan resolves itself.
We handle design, 3D rendering, documentation, and council liaison in-house. That means one point of contact from the first sketch to the approved set — and no coordination gaps between the render and the drawings that get built.
What we do
01
Concept & Design
Site analysis, massing, sun and wind, floor plans, form.
02
3D Rendering
Photorealistic exterior and interior renders for approvals and marketing.
03
Documentation
DA, CC, and construction sets — drawn to build cleanly.
04
Council Liaison
Compliance strategy across NSW councils. LEP, DCP, BCA.
Building types
Nine categories,
one method
We work across every residential typology allowed under NSW planning — plus commercial types where the brief calls for architectural clarity. Each type has its own rules; the method that reads them stays the same.
